"My surgeon is Margaret Inman at St. Vincent's in Carmel, IN. I have done quite a bit of research and am very confident that I will be in good hands. She did talk when I went for the group consult and went into great detail about the actual surgery as well as the risks and after care. I was very impressed. My only complaint would be that I only met with her personally for about a minute or two and will not see her again until the morning of my surgery. I guess this is typical, but I think this is a huge deal and would like to have had a little more time to talk to her personally.I definitely feel like surgical competence is the more important than bedside manner, but of course, both would be great. I have a couple of friends who had her perform their RNY and said that she offers both! I do have peace of mind, knowing that she is absolutely top in her field. I will update more after my surgery."
