needing revision surgery

Today is Sept 15, 2011..Since the last time I posted alot has happened. On Feb 4, 2010 my LapBand slipped & I was admitted to Forest Bariatrics in Ypsi, Mi to have surgery on it. I did loose all my weight. Got down to a dangerous 139 lbs,but with the slippage came severe dehydration & malnutrition. Didn't realize that all that was going on. JUST KNEW I COULDN'T EAT without vomitting. So for 24 hrs they pumped me with fluids thru IV until I was well enough to have surgery to repair. During that 24 hrs, I decided to have Band removed. Dr Nunn wasn't too happy cause heknew my history with food. But he did comply & band was removed. He was RIGHT. Within 6 months, I gained all the weight back. So here I am Sept 15th going with Dr Pop to have a SLEEVE put in. I am still in the approval stage with my insurance. We can't look back after some decisions. Mine was wrong. I should've kept the Band in unfilled. At least I could've started with FILLS AGAIN. But instinct told me I ALMOST DIED. So I am on my journey again. Will keep you posted on my status. Hopefully, I only have cardiac evalution to go ( appt next week) & it will be submitted to my insurance. MY SUGAR levels makes this surgery necessary cause loosing with the Band surgery
will be too slow for me. I NEED HELP NOW B-4 I become insulin dependent. Due to my job, that cannot happen. I am too young to retire. Say some prayers please.
