So now I am waiting for my approval letter so I can schedule my surgery.  Come on letter!!!!  I guess that gives me time to drop the few pounds that I have gained since Dr. Tanaka won't do surgery on me if I weigh more than what I did when I saw him.  I have started a protein shake for breakfast, a low carb slim fast for lunch and a sensible meal.  Now I need the motivation to excercise more.  It is just so boring and hot out...I have a treadmill but it is in the garage and that makes it way hot to walk on.  But I have to do it.  Starting tonight!!!!

Yes you heard that right....I am approved.  Now I just wait for the letter so that we can schedule!!!

So driving on my way to work, the freeway comes to a slow....well all of a sudden I get hit from the side and spun into a wall.  Hit my head and I am pretty sore today.  I went to the doctor and everything was fine.  So they weighed me at the doctor and I have gained 7 pounds....how?  I truthfully have no clue.  I am replacing at least one meal a day with a protein drink, and most of the time two meals a day.  Dr. Tanaka won't do the surgery if I gained even a pound.  I don't know what is going on.  Can stress make you retain water?  I just had a bad day overall and wanted to climb into bed and die.

Okay I just don't understand what is taking so freakin long.  Everyone else that I have read that has my insurance gets approved within a week.  I am going on 2 weeks.  WTF???  I am sooooooooooooo frusterated with them, I don' t understand!!!

My hopefully soon to be exhusband just tried to call me on my cell phone.  Those conversations never go good so I didn't answer since I am at work.  Don' t know if I will ever answer when he calls again, he knows how to bring a girl down.  I haven't talked to him in almost a year!

Alright just got a phone call from the surgeons office....request for approval is faxed in........heart pounding!!!!

Alright so Dr. Tanaka's office has all my paperwork now....they are writing up the letter to the insurance company this week and it should be faxed to them by the end of the week, beginning of next week.......Pray for a speedy APPROVAL!!!

All right, so I have gotten cleared by Tanaka, now it's onto the insurance company....I am trying to get my couple of files from doctor since she is a new doctor to me and I already got all my old files from my old PCP.  I am having a hard time getting them though and not happy about that.  I am waiting for their phone call.

So my chart is still on Dr. Tanaka's desk.  It will be two weeks tomorrow that it has been sitting there.  I am getting frusterated.  Alisha said he will be in the office tomorrow and Friday and that should give him a chance to look at it and give it back to her.  So I am waiting some more.  I feel like that is all I do is wait!!!

I am still waiting for Pac Bar to call me and let me if I have been cleared for surgery and that they are submitting to the insurance.  I am getting impatient, they said they would call me this week.

An hour later:
So I called Pac Bar and I am still in for final approval from the surgeon.  I am so anxious.  I called my insurance company, because they like to change things around everytime I get someone different on the phone to see what is needed....well this lady was clueless.  After having me on hold for 5 minutes, she said just have your doctors office fax in your height, weight, bmi and comorbidities and we will let you know from there.  I want it all done in one shot I told her, why couldn't she tell me anything more. (previously I was told just a 5 year weight hx and no supervised diet by about 5 or 6 different people.)  Ugh!!!!  Frusterated!!!!  I'm not sure this is going to happen for me.
