My story....humm well no time is better than now to go out of m comfort zone. I am doing this for my family...because I have been selfish in letting my self go for so many years. My wife and children deserve to have their Dad and Husband past the age of 50. I developed my love of food at the age of 16 when I began the road to becoming a chef. It was kind of downhill from there. Once upon a time I enjoyed such activities as surfing, beach volleyball, soccer, baseball, and was quite good at all of them. Now I struggle to keep up with my daugher on her bike. I have been comtemplating this surgery for the better part of 6 months. On August 8 had my consultation with Doc Snyder and together with his help came to the conclusion that this is the right thing and time to do it. I trust Doctor Snyder completely and that was never at issue. My wife is a patient and had Gastric Bypass 18 months ago and can credit him with amazing care and giving my wife an amazing confidence about herself that you cannot put a price on.
I have been fastracked for surgery for August 30. I am only struggling with one thing. I am a very private person by nature and I am not quite sure what or if to tell anyone (other than my immediate family of course)??
