Denis Halmi

"<Font face="comic sans ms"><font size=2 color="Navy"> <p align="left">Dr. Halmi was a soft spoken man. He took plenty of time to answer questions and explain procedures. I felt nervous, but comfortable talking to him. 10/4/2002 Attended a Staple Club Meeting held locally and the guest speaker was Dr. Halmi. I must say that this pleased me to know that the person doing my surgery took his personal time to speak to this group. Many Dr's would not bother after hours to attend a gathering and be hammered with qestions. It made me feel even more comfortable to see how he handled himself in this situation. He seems to be concerned and approachable. He states that he will be my Doctor for life now. That is impressive. He seems to be honost in his answers, good or bad, has a tremendous aftercare program for his patients. Some that attended said that they had only seen their doctors once or twice in months. Dr. Halmi was bi-weekly. He stressed that he wished to be informed of any problems immediately and as stated, he is available. Although it is too early to say how this will go the patients of his attending seemed to be well satisfied and I am hoping to be the same. I will keep you posted, good or bad. 11/25/2002 I am now 12 days Post Op and I thought I would take this time to say that Dr. Halmi has been wonderful. He was attentive, answered all questions, my surgery went well and not only did I have the RNY, I also had a major hernia repair at the same time and I am pleased to say that I am feeling excellent and making good progress. I hope to be back to work on Monday. His staff has been very kind and is after care program is exceptional. He has stated that he will be my doctor for life and that is so comforting. I rate him very highly."
