"Mu first impression of Dr. Caruana and his staffw as that they were very capapble, professional and the bedside manner is awesome. They really seem to know how you are feeling and what you are dealing with. Lisa, their RN was GBS herself and deals with it everyday, so It's nice to know that someone else knows first hand what it is like. They do emphasize the aftercare very much. They have a state of the art facility also. They did address therisksof surgery tailor made to what you and our needs are,not an umbrella grouping of risks. I would definately rate them a 10 overall. I think that surgical competence is better, but with this office you definately have both!! The only negative thing about the dr and his office would be how long it takes to actually get an appt. but that is also due to the amount of patients that he has. "
"She really seems like she is interested in some things and is a fairly newly practicing physician. Having worked for many drs. as a nurse in my career, she just doesn't seem sure of herself in somethings. I am awaiting a phone call back from her office regarding a referral to Dr. Posner for possible surgery consult. The secretary told me she didn't think she was " down with that" but we shall see.......If she isn't then I will find someone that is and let you know."
