Hi, no weight change since I posted last. Just starting to exercise again from having the hysterectomy. I go in for my one year check on 06/01/2007. It will be one year on the 2nd of June. Hard to believe the time has flown.  My daughter and I along with hubby had out pics took today.

Hi,
I had a hysterectomy on 03/05/07(not related to my WLS), along with abdominoplasty. Currently I am at 163 (9 pounds from surgeons goal) 18 from mine.  Even though you really should be stable and at goal when you have plastics done.  My OB/GYN and plastic surgeon felt I was an excellent candidate for what I wanted. Especially since the hysterectomy needed to be abdominal. I am so glad I had it done. I have posted pics , but will not leave them permanently.

Hi,
Well things are holding steady. This is a good thing with the holidays. I found out I will be having an abdominal hysterectomy in March. This in and of itself doesn't bother me (no more periods - this rocks) My concern is in that it will only have been 9 months since my RNY. Currently my blood work is excellent, health wise I believe I am good to go. But hey whats life without anxiety??

Hi,
I thought I would list some of my "wow" moments since I began my journey.
I can now paint all my own toenails.
I actually weigh less then what my DL says.
I bought a size 12 in jeans today ( the stretch jeans)
No more C-pap
My neck is back.
I weigh less then my husband.

Hi,
I love this new set up. I had surgery 06/02/06. I was self pay. I started at 276, currently my weight is 181.5 my lowest weight in 12 1/2 years. I know this because I weighed 182 when I got pregnant with my now 12 year old daughter.  Isn't it wonderful how we remember some stuff. My ride so far has been wonderful. I feel very fortunate, I went in for my surgery 06/02 and went home 06/03. No complications, no drains, no drama. I went home and did as I was told. Except, I did (and do) drink caffeinated coffee, not a bunch, but I am sure it will strip me of my exceptional patient title..lol. Dr. Gornichec is a wonderful surgeon. I would recommend him to anyone. He has a sense of humor, and if you have met him you know that he is cute to boot. Always a plus. He seems very thorough, which put me at ease. Surgery is always scary, I am at this point already planning my TT, and probably a breast lift. That will be it as far as I am concerned. My arms and legs (skin wise) seem to be doing okay. I carried alot of my weight in my stomach. My family has been very supportive as well as my co-workers. Oh I was back to work by 06/12/06. I do not seem to experience a whole lot of tireness which is good for me. I take my vitamins, super B and B-12 and calcium daily. Since I don't experience "hunger" like before, I do eat on a schedule.
