"Wonderful provider. He has the confidence that goes with performing thousands of these procedures in a department known worldwide for it's bariatric programs. If you want close hand holding care this facility is probably not for you. The patient is largely responsible for all steps leading to the OR and while the steps are clearly spelled out not being in the medical field often times I found my self having to ask a second or third time for information. I was extremely well-educatated by the staff and doctors on what to expect and when to expect it. Personally, I had some complicating matters and all participants in the surgery were obviously well briefed on those complications and had a plan in place to deal with any issues. None arose. He is a very busy doctor at a large and busy program (The Ohio State University). The lines of communication are easy to open and his nurse will call back in less than 24 hours of leaving a message."
