I just wanted to say good luck to you on Monday! I celebrate my 1 year on the 7th, so I was right where you are a year ago. It's tough in the beginning, but so worth it. Make sure you take your measurements and lots of pictures, you don't think that time flies, but it sure does and it nice to have a record of it. Take care! Karen

Wow just a few more days! I am very happy for you. It sounds like you have a great program and I wish you a speedy recovery. You have been following the diet, your liver will be fine.

Hello Ruthann! I just wanted to wish you the best of luck and tell you that you have given me inspiration to fight for my surgery. I am in the same position. I have Humana of Kentucky and they have denied me. I have had one appeal and been denied that, too. I was told I get 2 appeals, so now I'm in the process of hiring an attorney for the 2nd one. Hopefully he/she can do better than I have. I was set to give up and just try to come up with the money to have Dr. Aguirre in Mexico to do my surgery, by why pay all that money if there is still a chance I can have insurance pay for it, right? Anyway, thanks for the inpiration and good luck!
