So please, don't laugh too hard. Today is July 18, 2007 and a week from tomorrow I have my pre-op appointment with Dr. Jawad and then on the 30th I am scheduled for re-birth. I have a great, positive attitude about this surgery but I know that can all change and I may have second thoughts. I know that this is what I need to live the rich and fullfilled life that I want to have in the time that is left to me on this earth. I certainly will look to others that have been there before me for support and guidance and I have an advantage of sorts in that I am having surgery on the same day as another of Dr. Jawad's patients. I hope that will be enough to make us fast friends!
