I was always active growing up and I continued on that path into adulthood. I have just graduated with a M.S. in Exercise Science and am currently getting ready to take the NSCA's Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist exam. My main desire is educating and helping unhealthy people lose weight, become more active, and eat healthier.

I was active in Ju-Jitsu for about 8 & 1/2 years, and competed the whole time. I won 2 world championships, a Sport Ju-Jitsu United States National Championship, and many other regional and state titles. As I got older, I didn't want to compete as much and just wanted to teach and experience the exercise benefits of martial arts. I then studied (and am continuing to study) many more martial arts and reap the exercise benefits from each. My knowledge as well as my personal experiences is part of my knowledge base in designing exercise prescriptions. I have studied:

Ju-Jitsu

Tae Kwon Do

Karate

Taijiquan (T'ai Chi)

Kung-fu

Brazilian Ju-Jitsu

Additionally, I have experience in weight training, plyometrics, and aerobic exercises (run, jog, walk, roller-blading, etc.). If I can help anyone with anything, just let me know!
