I usually sleep in on weekends, so my morning weight is lower than during the week when I have to get up at 5:30.
This morning for the first time on a weekday, my weight was below 200.  I weighed in at 199.0!!!!!!!
I have officially lost 61 pounds since my journey began.  Last week was my six month bandiversary.
I am so happy.  I am going on vacation in a week and a half.  I have 3 new swimsuits and several new shorts and capris.  I really enjoy shopping now.
Last week a fellow lapbander took me to a new store that I have never shopped at before.  They don't carry large sizes so I had never been in there before.  I walked out with 3 tops and a jacket!!!!
I finally feel like a normal person instead of a beached whale, and I still have a long way to go.
I feel confident that I will make it to my goal!!!

I actually lost 7 pounds since my last fill!!!!  I know I could do more, but I have to try a lot harder.
I got .6cc more.  I now have 7cc in my 10cc band.  I know about 2.4cc of that is in the tubing.
I have lost a total of 45 pounds since before this process started.  I count before the 3 month diet, because I would never have done that without needing to for the surgery.
I am really hoping that with this fill I will finally feel full and not have to push food away just because I think I should.  I actually want to feel full, and have that feeling last for a couple of hours.
Now that the weather is starting to get better and it is staying light later, maybe I can get more exercise. 

Well, today I had my second fill.  No problems, no pain.  Fills are really no big deal.  I have only lost 2.5 pounds in the last month.  I really lost more, but had a weekend of bad food choices the two days before fill and weigh in.  
I sure hope this fill does something.  I don't feel very in control and really need restriction to help me stop eating.
I really need to practice self control, too.  We went for Mexican Saturday night and I ate a whole bunch of chips before dinner.  I did great with dinner, but it doesn't matter with all the chips.  
The water she had me drink took a while to go down.  Hopefully that is good news.
I also know I need to exercise more.  I need to buy a treadmill, because I am definately a fair weather person.  Won't even walk the dog if it is wet or cold.  My stationary bike is uncomfortable, so only get in about 30 minutes in two shifts, when I bother to get on it.

I was sick of baggy clothes. so I went shopping twice this week.  I really had fun!  Before surgery, I never really had fun shopping.  Nothing fit, nothing looked good, it was horrible.  
This week, I really liked what I picked out and most of it looked good!  I bought size 18 pants (one a 16/18).  My tops were 16/18 or 1X.  Soon I plan on only shopping in the regular size departments, instead of the women's department.
I wore one outfit to work on Thursday and got lots of compliments.  That outfit is in my photos.

I am sooooo mad!!! The hospital has called and said that they don't have approval for my surgery!!! My secondary is paying and now they are saying that they don't have a denial record from my primary!!!  This was approved two months ago!!!!
I really didn't need this today.  I am already stressed out because of surgery, having to try and get everything done for Christmas by tomorrow and everything else.  I need the drugs from the hospital right now!!!!!

It is the Tuesday before Thanksgiving.  My surgery is the month on the 19th.  I am sooooo psyched!  I will be enjoying Thanksgiving at my brother and sister-in-laws.  They will have a newly married son in town for the holiday.  I will try and control my eating, buy we all know that we got here because that is very difficult for us.  I have my pre-op with surgeon on December 7th and then start the liquid diet on December 9th.  I'm sure that all the Christmas stuff will keep me pre-occupied so it should fly by.  I have to get all of my Christmas shopping, decorating and wrapping done before my surgery.  I better get busy!!!!
