Hi all!! Just wanted to let everyone know that Im home from the hospital. On 7/28 I went to the ER and had emergency surgery. I had a small hole in my stomach caused by an ulcer. THIS IS NOT RELATED TO MY WLS...I had ulcers BEFORE the wls. In spite of everything, Im doing well, down about 120 lbs since last oct. My recovery is going smoothly, though I have more pain with this surgery than the wls. Thank all of you for your well wishes and prayers!!!!!!! HUGS to all, Terri

Dear Terri & Jim- best wishes and extra prayers for speedy healing. Soon you will see this as a bump in your journey. Remember everything you learned when you had you WLS- walk, sip and breathe deep. I hope to hear about you being home very soon!

I SAID A PRAYER FOR YOU TODAY~*~ I said a prayer for you today And know God must have heard- I felt the answer in my heart Although He spoke no word I didn't ask for wealth or fame, I knew you wouldn't mind, I asked Him to send treasures Of a far more lasting kind, I asked that He'd be near you At the start of each new day, To grant you health and blessings And friends to share your way. I asked for happiness for you In all things great and small, But it was for His loving care I prayed the most of all.

Terri's huband wrote this, Please keep her in your prayers! Terri had her wls last Oct. and has lost over 100lbs, Now she is having problems! Hubby writes. Thanks for letting the others know how Terri is doing. There were several responses. She is still in ICU. They hope to get her into a regular room tomorrow. They are fighting infection and low blood pressure now. I printed them out to take to her at the hospital. I know they will cheer her up.
