Yes! I was hoping they would, it is baaaad lol. Though I will have to figure out how to pay the difference. I'm going for a fleur de lis lower body lift. Yes, the scars will be bad but oh my gosh to get rid of all the skin will be awesome!! The plastic surgeon says I have 15lbs or more of skin to remove. :O

Now to heal from getting out my evil gallbladder and seeing how long I need to wait to get this done. Since this is VERY major work. I dread thinking about it since I think this gallbladder recovery right now is pretty bad, I'm gonna be in trouble with this one. :P

So I said good riddance to my gallbladder on Thursday.  July 24, 2014. I had been having sharp pains near my belly button and my larger incision from the sleeve. Had an ultrasound and they found a ton of large gallstones . Fun... Anyhow my surgeon and I were prepared to get it out and to check if I had hernias, hence my pains. Turned out, all the pain was just radiating from my gallbladder. He said it was baaaad! Glad it got it out! 

I was really being naive and thought this surgery would be easy... Everyone told me it would be. Although I think this one was a lot worse than my sleeve surgery. He did it laparoscopically (5 holes) and the largest incision is the same one he used before. Though he had to make it bigger. :O my gallbladder must have been really angry and huge lol.

So glad it's done and over with. Now, if only I can start sleeping that would be nice. :P

Wow, stalls really mess with your mind... This past month I've been stuck at 209lbs. Then yesterday I weighed in and lost a pound. Today I weighed and another pound. Just another reminder to keep plugging along and it IS working!!

So my surgery was on February 5th 2013 at 2:30 pm. Everything went well with the surgery. Pretty routine.

My only problem was a few of the nurses. In the recovery room a nurse was talking to me and told me that I'll get so skinny and that I'll become a "mean girl" and have a big head because of it. I groggily told her "No, I won't!" She replied that  "oh yes, you'll be the same nice, sweet girl, right?" Ugh. What did I ever do to her?  I'm a stranger to her.

Afterwards when the took me to my hospital room a male nurse took me and had my recovery room bed beside the new bed I'm supposed to be in.... He was waiting on more nurses to help get me in the bed. He was very impatient and could not wait and he made me scoot myself over into the other bed. It caused me a lot of pain and I believe that's why my pain is still bad in that spot today. :(

I had two very attentive and great nurses and they were just wonderful. :) One nurse I had one time though had an attitude and she was annoyed to help me use the restroom.

I did have lots of pain. Which I expected but it was worse than I thought it would be. It was pretty well managed though since unfortunately I need the meds pretty constantly.

I did feel bad enough that I actually WANTED to stay another day in the hospital. But hordes of doctors kept coming in and saying I was doing fine. I just couldn't hold down much liquids and it would get better.

I was sent home and waited for a wheelchair to take me out. A very nice man took me and entertained me,my mom, and sister the entire way. He sang songs from "The Wizard of Oz" lol. He was great! :D

I'm now a week out of surgery and had my week check up appointment and everything is going pretty well. I had a very rough first 5 days. Today is the best day so far. I'm still having trouble getting my liquids and proteins in, but I'm doing a bit better everyday.

Best news of all! I'm down 10 pounds in 7 days!!! :D

I forgot to post but my pre op appointment went well. Every thing went great.

Today is the day!!! I'm nervous but excited at the same time. I hope everything goes well. :)

I'm ready for change and to not hurt anymore. :D

Just got a call that my pre-op appointment is January 28th. My surgery is scheduled on February 5th!

So excited! Ready for my life to change and feel much better.
