"At the Seminar I was very impressed with the courtesy of the staff. I met Dr. P on my first office visit. I was then very impressed with his \"approachability\". I am sure that - that is not even a word. But...he was very easy to talk with. He helped me decide on the exact WLS that would best fit me and my needs. I am a \"self-pay\" patient and that has a good point...I get to choose what I allow to be done to my body.rnrnI will update as the surgery date comes and goes. WLS is June 18, 2009.rnrnOne NOTE: If you are going to Dr. P .. you will needs a test that is referred to as an \"EGD\". This test sucks. He will attempt to stick a scope down your nose and/or your throat to get a visual on your stomach. He is checking for bacterial infections and the like. This was the most horrific thing I have been through to date. I could not accomodate this test, they chose to do a \"breath test\" that reveals the exact same information. This test took 15 minutes and it was a breeze. I trust there is a reason behind the EGD..but again...tht test stinks."
