My first visit to the surgeons office!

OK so I finally had my first appointment on May 7,2009. The office staff was so nice. There was five of us hopefuls there! We were all excited. So the fist thing we did was get called back one by one and we had our picture taken and then our stats. After that we all met in the conference room for the three hour seminar. It sounds long but there was so much very helpful information that time seemed to fly by. We also got to meet Dr Freeman. He had just finished changing someones life at the hospital (which is right across the street). Fresh out of doing someones surgery and he looked so happy. You can tell by listening to him that it comes from the heart. Before he left he had prayer with everyone which I thought was very sweet. After the seminar we each went into our own little room and met Tim, the surgeon assistant. He was great too. He listened to my heart, checked for swelling and did a breif history on me. After that it was off to the psych and I was done. And so happy!! All that's left now is my bloodwork, sending in medical history and it all off to insurance for approval! I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
