I have struggled with weight since 12, and 47 years later still struggling. The reason I have researched surgery is because I'm hopeful to have come across the real help I have been searching for.Trying everything, and still not having any real results, and having been exploited with one diet after another through the years, I am praying this is the answer. My health has become a serious issue. I have had Diabetes for 9 years, 7years on oral meds, and 2years on insulin. Since taking insulin, I have gained close to 60 lbs. My joints can no longer handle the stress of this weight. I have osteoarthritis, that causes constant pain, where I cannot even walk with my husband anymore,or do the things I once did with my grandchildren.
