Good luck on your coming surgery. My prayers are with you, and hoping for an uneventful surgery, and a speedy, painfree recovery. Keep your focus on healing. Hi Cindy, I had my surgery open on Oct 30th. I am still low on energy. I have had 2 friends that have had RNY but had it LAP and they both have plenty of energy. I live in Alaska but I had my surgery in TX. It took me 4 different flights and over 13 hrs to get home. I was pooped for 2 days. Just remember that we are all different.
