Hello, everyone it has been almost two years since I started out on my journey to find the real me that has been hiding for years. Update I finally had my surgery on March 22, 2010. I fought really hard to get this surgery and finally got the approval in March; after that everything is history as they say. I will work hard to post new pictures but I have to say that I have lost a grand total of: 57 pounds since my surgery. So I am excited about that!!! More blogs to come!

Yesterday, I had my initial appointment to get things started for my surgery.  I had a bit of good news I have lost 7lbs since I last weighed in at my primary doctor's office.  I guess that is a good start or omen as some would say.  On August the 13th, 2009 I go for my psychological consult for the surgery, I will be getting my packet in the mail for my other two appointments one with the nutritionist and the other to have my blood work drawn. I am excited but I am not counting on the surgery until after I have had it.  Excited just wanted to blog it!!
