Thomas Helling

"I meet Dr. Helling on 6-16-03 finally after him being called to the OR twice before I got to see him. I was starting think I wouldn't see him. My impression of him was that he was a very down to business, get to the point kind of guy. After talking to him I also found that he was very nice and kind and seemed to really care about you. I really felt good about him when I found out his specialty was transplant surgery it made me feel even more confident about him as a surgeon. The staff was great they explained everything and answered all the question we had so by the time I saw the surgeon I didn't really have any for him. I would recommend him to anyone. Although I haven't had my surgery yet we'll see then. LOL :) The only negative thing I would have to say which isn't really bad is they need to keep some kind of snack items there or juice in the office it was 3 o'clock by the time we got a break to eat and my blood sugar had dropped and all I could do was sit there and wait while my mother went to the hospital cafteria to get me a sandwhich cause I was so dizzy. One other lady there had the same problem. Or if not have it there warn people when you make your appt. to bring something to eat with them that it may be a long day. 4-11-04 Well I find myself having to go to a new surgeon Dr. Bruce Hardy my appt. is tomorrow 4-12-04 so I will write my thoughts then."
