I am 8 weeks post op RNY and I'm having pain now when I eat.  It is uncomfortable when I take the first few bites at about my sternum. I ate too fast about 4 days ago and my food got "stuck", I had to vomit.  Since then, it seems I am having this pain. I can feel my food as it goes down.  Did I do any damage when I vomited?  That was the 1st time I've vomited since surgery.

 

 

 

I am preparing to have RNY...going thru the pre op exams, etc.  I am trying to find my clear liquid protein and have not had much luck.  My guide book suggests Isopure and the New Whey bullets during the phase right after surgery. I bought both to check them out, and they taste horrible!  I can't see myself drinking either one!  I am wondering what some of you who have already had surgery did for your immediate post op clear liquids phase....please help!!  Also wondering if unflavored protein powder mixed with crystal light or
vitamin water is permissable?
