WooHoo... 10 years later!!!!!

Jul 18, 2018

June 2, 2008 was the big day and here it is 10 years later!

It's been 5 years since I've last blogged about my journey to a healthier me. I'm still workingthis tool and its been up and down with struggles. When they say that you can gain weight back belive it! Just a couple a months ago I ballooned back up to 297, by going back to my old ways of drinking and eatting for the most part, and not working out.

Then my dream job help me get back on track! I'm so excited to say that I'm now working with bariatric patients as an Bariatric Patient Navigator! I was like no way could I go infront of these patients and talk about the surgery and I'm not doing what I suppose to do.

I got with a dietitain and a CPN for non-surgical weight loss medicine. So the dietitian started me on a 1200 calorie diet, and told me to go to workout 5x a week for 1 hour. The CPN gave me Phentermine and Saxenda! Which Saxenda is my favorite per its a shot a day, and kills your appetite for 12 hours.

So I started this process on May 2nd at 297, and as of today I'm 270. So in 2 months I've lost 27 pounds. My lowest weight since having the surgery was 228, and my current goal is to get to 230! So I have about 40 to go and I love going to workout! Cardio is my favorite to do and I hate lifting... #LOL

I still to this day don't get hungry pains and greasy foods make me dump. So yes pretty much I airfry everything! I had my pouched checked last year and it's the same size as the day of surgery was completed. That's truly a blessing and I was so worried about that.

So I have so much information that I'm going to share on my blog and it chats! My goal is to keep moving until I hit goal and never balloon back up like that again.
