My 6 Month Bandiversary!!!

The 12th was my 6 month bandiversary and I have been known to come on here and make quite a fuss about how irritated I am w/ my lack of restriction. I have only lost 35 pounds but I am much happier now.  I was going through drawers the other day and I found a notebook w/ before pics of my stomach, arms, and legs, and measurements for everything. It was from 2004, and I weighed 22 pounds more then. Not that much more, but my body measurements were insanely different. My stomach was a 46! And now it was a 38, and my chest went down 2 inches and my arms 1 1/2 inches and my hips went from a 51 to a 44! I even had my leg measurements and my calves were almost 20 inches and now they are 17 1/2. So maybe I'm not losing a lot of weight but I am SO different then when I started 6 months ago. That wasn't even what I weighed at surgery, I was 15 pounds heavier then I was in the notebook. My meas. would be way different if I would have taken them then. Wish I had. Oh well. This is good enough! I figure if it takes me another 6 months to lose another 35 pounds then I'll be at 70 pounds and close to my goal. I can deal w/ that, boy can I...

Major NSV! I (yes, me) spit out chocolate!!!

I LOVE chocolate but I am so super determined right now to lose weight. This whole Realize band thing isn't working so well and I'm on my 4th fill, 5 months in, and I have NO restriction... Boo... so I have to do everything in my power to fight this obesity problem. Well, last night, w/out thinking I grabbed a piece of chocolate and bit a chunk out of the corner. I must have been high or something, because I have no idea why I did this but I spit that chocolate out so fast and threw the rest of the square away. Now if you would have told me 1 year ago that was going to happen I would have laughed my head off. Crystal doesn't spit out chocolate, but I did, and it was even caramel filled Ghirardelli!!! My favorite!!! I'm so proud of myself :) Go me. I'd rather be proud of myself w/out chocolate then to eat it and feel good for 5 seconds and feel like crap for hours afterwards... because I would....
