4 weeks & 1 day
Aug 14, 2010
So it has been exactly 4 weeks and 1 day since my surgery.
So far I have lost 32 pounds.
I was disapointed because in the first 2 weeks I lost 25, 5 the third and then only 2 this past week.
I exercise 5 times a week, I get on the treadmill for 40 to 40 minutes, depending on how I feel.
I don't eat a whole lot, drink lots of water and take my vitamins.
When I look at myself in the mirror I cannot tell at all that I have lost any weight :(
This is so frustrating.
Also my pants are still fitting the same, not getting any looser.
I know I should be very happy with 32 pounds and I want to be, but somehow I feel like I could have done better.
Today I am going to my first support group meeting, hopefully they can help me out and give me some tips.

1st day home
Jul 19, 2010
Today I finally got to come home! Had my surgery on Friday and did ok.
I didn't need any meds for the pain, but I needed some for nausea... the anesthetic took about a day to work out of my system and I was throwing up no matter what :(
Yesterday was the first day I finally felt good :)
The drive home tiered me out a bit and I needed a 2 hour nap when I got home.
Did a load of laundry and took a shower and I am feeling a bit tiered now.
I don't feel any thinner yet, but hopefully that will change soon.
