Well, I am now almost 16 months post op and have lost 135 lbs.  Almost at goal. I feel great and people are now calling me "slim" and "petite" - words I never thought I'd hear associated with me.  It's unbelievable.  I am so happy.  Just started buying spring and summer clothes and it's so much fun. I am actually wearing a size 8!!! Single digits.  I never thought it possible.

I am one year post op and feeling fantastic!!  I have lost 123 lbs and am so happy!  This journey has been thrilling; life-altering.  My energy level is high; I exercise 6 times a week and am wearing sizes I've never worn as an adult woman.  For the first time, I'm buying clothes I love, rather than just clothes that fit.  My friends and family have been so encouraging and supportive.  I have about 15 lbs to go to get to my goal.  I am actually a petite person!  WOW!
The picture on my profile is a few months old and I'v lost weight since then- my BMI is now down to 30.0.
