Well, I've never done a blog or even joined a site like this so it may take me awhile to figure out how to navigate and stuff. I have been overweight for most of my life and am hoping to have wls in the near future. I have been reading and checkin out the info on this site for awhile now and have found it to be a very suportive and informative place to talk to people who have been through this journey that i soon hope to take myself. My referral hopefully was sent yesterday to the ottawa clinic. So now my wait begins......in the meantime i am anxious to get started and dream of the day i will get my surgery. Hoping they say yes to the surgery and give me a chance to get my life on the right track. I have a supportive hubby and kids. My brother and sister"s family are in the loop but i am hoping to keep the outlaws in the dark.lol Just don't want any negativity . I have researched and thought about this surgery for a long time and now is the time for me to take this step, for me and my health.
