As a 40 something mom of three and wife to an incredible husband I feel blessed. Being happy with myself has been an issue for for a lot of years due to my weight. Only being 5'1" any excessive weight is very obvious. My decision to have RNY was made after considering surgery for several years, but I finally made up my mind after having lost weight only to gain it back several times along with numerous health issues, aches, pains, joint problems, etc. I now feel like I'm on the journey to a new life. One that I can be healthy in and spend with my family for many many years. I'm learning to be comfortable in my new body as the weight comes off. I'm looking forward to all that is in store for me.
