5 Days to go!

I'm 5 days away from surgery and couldn't be more sure of my decision to have wls.  I went to my pre-admission visit and everything turned out great and I'm ready to go.  I went shopping yesterday to finish up on my preparations for surgery.  I got everything I went for and I laid it all out on the countertop in the kitchen so my son and DH can take care of me afterwards.

This weekend I will be taking my son and a friend to Schlitterbahn in New Braunfels.  The days are going by so slowly that I thought this would help them pass more quickly.  I helped my daughter move this past weekend down to the New Braunfels area so that she could work at Schlitterbahn.  She is almost 20 years old but this is still hard for me to let go.  I worry so much about her safety.  She is 5'3" tall(or short!), blonde haired and blue eyed and one of the sweetest and friendliest people I know.  She is just gorgeous and draws the attention of the old and young men wherever we go.  I bought her 4 bottles of mace - one to keep by her bed, one to keep in her purse, one in her truck and another just in case.  I'm just nuts when it comes to my kids!  LOL!  When she turns 21 I'm insisting that she get her concealed handgun license. 

I will take pics this weekend as my final pre-op pics and then post them when I get the chance.  I want to thank everyone on this website who have written blogs and responded to mine.  I feel as prepared as I can be and I am confident in my decision thanks to you guys!  Take care and ttyl!
