starting local support group

I have decided to start a local support group.   I went to a group meeting at the Cleveland clinic, (about 1.5 hour drive for me) and felt good about it.  The Psychiatrist that led the group said those who are in support groups do better than those who are not.    I want this surgery to work as well as possible.  It is not practical for me to drive 1.5 hours to Cleveland  and the times of their meetings will not work for me.

So I will start an evening session locally.  All I need to find is some place to hold the meeting.  There are many resources on the web that offer meeting materials.

I hope others will join me on this new adventure.
