Nervious about getting the gastric sleeve

I am scheduled to get the sleeve on 12/13/12. I am trying to find out the kind of foods that one can eat with no problems. I have tried to look up gastric sleeve diets but have not really found anything that has enlightened me.

I had the Lap band what a nightmare. I was allergic to the port and It was hard to deal with food that would not go through. I thought  I would die from all the saliva and not being able to breath once in that situation.

I am very scared to have this done since it is not reversible, can anyone give me some solid advise?
