My experience with bariatric surgery

Well I'm one week post-op today from gastric bypass surgery. When I attended classes I was overly excited about getting my procedure and begin my new life. I never knew this first week would be the most terrible week of my life! :*( I've been sick and in pain for this entire week. No one told me I would have symptoms like a drug addict, only I'm craving regular food right now! I  want to taste food! I'm actually starting to feel hungry, which I didn't expect, especially this early on. However, my face has cleared up! I've already started losing weight! I'm getting weighed on 5/2 at my follow up. My beginning weight was 237 lbs and I'm 5'3. Hopefully all of the weight that will be loss will make up for me being sick this whole week. I'm off to bed as I was up most of the night because of sweating and a nightmare. : (
