138 lbs down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So I know it is going slow but it is going down. I am so excited. It has been a glorious ride so far. People ask if I feel any different and the answer would probably be no. I was very active before wls and I am still active now. My friends say that my personality is the same. I feel that I have stayed true to myself. For that, I am very glad.
I hope to keep losing. Everyday is a challenge but it is one I am excited to face.

130 lbs lost!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Okay so life for me has been hectic for the past few months. I have graduated college with my Master's in Social Work. I am still working full time at CPS and I am working part time in Indiana. My babies (ages 9 &5) are both getting ready to go back to school and start kindergarten.
In regards to my weight loss, it has been very slow since the 100lb mark. Of course I think the lack of working out because of my schedule has been the biggest contributor. I am able to eat more and that worries me. I try to take one day at a time. I really try to make good food choices but it is a daily struggle for me.
This website has been a huge support for me. I have missed the last few months of support group but I am hoping to get back next month.
Anyway I just wanted to update my progress. Hopefully the next time I post I will have a bigger weight loss. Until next time......

100 POUND LOSS!!!!!!!!
Today I finally lost 100 lbs after being at 99lbs for the past 3 weeks. I am so excited. I need to take a full length picture just to see the difference in me. I can't believe the difference in how people treat me. I am working out about 4 times a week and feel that I am eating okay. There is always room for improvement but I am working on it. I struggle with every pound I am losing but in the end it will be worth it. I just hope that the scale keeps going down.
I am almost finished with school (May 9th last day). We are leaving for Florida that same day and I can't wait. I hope that professionally that I will get a different job (same place just different area). My kids and husband are great. My husband tells me all the time how great I look. I love all the friends that I am meeting on this site and I am excited to be able to talk to others.
Oh well. That is all that is going on with me right now.
ALMOST 4 MONTHS....

I am down 75lbs!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been exercising religiously at the YMCA and feel so much better. I don't think I feel differently physically but I definitely feel better mentally. I feel more confident and happy with myself. I still worry that I am not going to be like some of the success stories we read about on this site but I try to stay positive.
I had my 4 month checkup with Dr. Shina and got my first B12 shot. He is very pleased with my success to date. I have had no problems whatsoever. He says that I am the poster child for WLS. That was nice. I did get in trouble because I am not taking the preventative stomach pill so I guess I will start taking that.
Well, I am great. Glad to have been fortunate enough to have my surgery. I hope I will keep losing and keep moving forward.

I am so excited. I am wanting to join a gym because I need to be more accountable than just walking on the treadmill in my bedroom. I have been staying busy with school, work, internship, husband and kids.. makes me exhausted just writing about it! I finally bought some stuff for protein shakes and some protein cereal bars. I am sticking to this and doing my best. Hopefully that will be good enough.

So far so good. I have been doing pretty well. I have been going to school and I am set to go back to work tomorrow. (Yuck)!! I have only thrown up about 4 times. Stuff just didn't set very well on my stomach. It really is just a trial and error process. Well we will see....
