Hi Dawn, Thank you for the encouraging words you left me, I really appreciate them. We are inching closer to our surgery dates! Isn't it exciting and nerve racking all at the same time?! In less than a month, we will be on our way to looking and feeling great. Woo hoo! ~~~~CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR UPCOMING SURGERY. ~~~~ May God give you courage, strength and guidance throughout your new journey. Your big day is almost here, this is the day, your new life will begin, I cant promise it will be easy, cant say it will be hard, I can say that with all the complications and everything I had to go through, It was well worth it. I have never felt better in yearsss, I’m off all medications, have sooooo much more energy. So if you hit a bump in the road, hang in there and remember it will alll be worth it in the long run. Prayers that the Lord will guide your surgeon’s hands and you have a speedy recovery. . Remember your not alone in this journey, many of us have been down this road, we are here to offer love and support. Looking forward to hearing from you on the loosing side. Hi Dawn. Thanks for your post. I know we're all counting the days (even minutes) until our surgeries. I just got home from my preop appointment, and I'm even more excited now. I didn't think that was possible until now. My best friend had WLS 12 months ago and she has lost 106lbs to date. HOORAY! We'll be there soon too. I wish you all the best.

Hi Dawn, Thank you for your kind note...yes we wait in some anxiety ,mixed with hope. I read you profile. You are very honest. I share MANY if not all of your fears!!!! Especially about dying..but yes..it is in God's hands...but deep down I know I am not through on this earth - there are things I still need to do and know that I am called to do...as are you..."Fear not and know that I am near!"....I have a BMI of 38.9 and I am short so...they went ahead with the surgery date and insurnace is still in process..I have sleep apnea ( bad) and hypertension and PCOS which they all say will improve with surgery...I can't believe that this is happening to us! It's been such a hard long frustrating and painful road...we will be ready to live again!!! My prayers for you Dawn. keep in touch! Bernadette

Hi Dawn:) Just read your profile ( which by the way is very nice) and I just want to wish you the very best in your up and coming surgery. To be honest I wanted to look at your pictures because to me you don't look that big at all. You are a very pretty woman and with the help of are Dr. and the good lord we will be even more beautiful, at least on the outside. With reading your profile and emailing back and forth on the message board you seem like a really nice lady and God will be blessing you with even more beautiful things to come.
