Well it has been a very long time since I have been on this site.  I have learned some things that I would like to share if you are considering gastric bypass surgery.  After the surgery your body is designed not to absorb as well as it did.  That includes not only fat, but also healthy nutrients, vitamins and minerals that our bodies need to function and be healthy.  I lost weight extremely fast and I LOVED it.  However, I have had health problems because my body is malnourished.  I tried many different types of vitamins and supplements, from over-the- counter to expensive tablets.  My health was still suffering.  My hair became thin and was falling out.  I was getting sick all of the time.  I gained about 1/2 of my weight back after having to take steroids for quite a while trying to recover from an illness.  I became very depressed with my weight gain.  A friend began taking the supplement line called Genesis Pure.  The products are liquid so people like me can absorb them more easily.  I have been doing the cleanse, multivitamin/mineral, and the Goyin superfruit supplement.  I am VERY excited to say that I have lost 25 lbs since September 2010 without doing anything other than using the Genesis Pure.  My body feels healthier that it has in years.  My skin, hair and nails look great and healthy.  My appetite is better controlled and I am having fewer cravings.  Eventhough I still have a lot more weight to lose (again) I feel good and I feel that I am giving my body what it needs to function and keep me healthy.   I wish I'd had Genesis Pure to start on when I had my surgery.  I believe it would have kept my body from breaking down so badly.  Someone asked me the other day if I would have the gastric bypass done again.  I would have to say yes, but only if I had these supplements to support my body.  When I had the surgery done I didn't think far enough ahead at the severity of what was being done by this surgery.  All I could think about was being thin and looking normal.   If you are considering this surgery, please try to think about how your body will respond to being altered.  If you choose the surgery PLEASE take care of your body with really good supplements.  I am so grateful that I have found the Genesis Pure products.  They are giving me my health, strength, and my life back.  Good luck to all of you.  If you have any questions please do not hesitate to write to me.
