"My first impression of Dr Keating. Scared and he is very direct and to the point so some people will be put off. Don't be, listen and ask all the questions you have. He does a great job as far as the surgery. I am glad now that I went to him and had my surgery done with him. He isn't there for the bedside type of stuff he is there to make sure you know what you are doing and that you know the risk. My impression changed over time. Either he was friendlier or else I got used to him, all tho I only had 3 visits with him. My only suggestion to anyone is have a great primary doctor. My primary has followed me thru the last 13 months and I am glad she did as I have had a few complications and she has been on top of it to refer me to a specialist to help me get things straightened up. Surgical competence I rate him far exceeds excellent but bedside I would rate fair. "
