2 weeks and 20 lbs!
Mar 16, 2011
HEY!!! Doing well and 20 pounds down! I've started doing some light exercise...Thank God for Leslie Sansone!! Her walking videos are great for low impact exercise! I had some green salad tonight...so far so good! I had a setback this past week though...I decided to test my tolerance for sugar and fat and had some normal ice cream...what a mistake!
Hope everyone else is doing ok...I'm going to take some pics later of me 2 weeks out. I have the day of surgery pics up...should be neat to see if I can tell the difference!
later!

Doing Better 1 week out
Mar 09, 2011
My surgery was one week ago today. I had my staples out today and got a new batch of foods I can have for the next few weeks. Happy about that, protien shakes were getting totally gross! The last weight before surgery was at my pre-op testing, I was 276. Today...259!!!! I still can't do the amount of physical activity I want to, but atleast I'm feeling up to doing more. My emotions are leveling out now, which is very nice...for everyone. I'm not regretting my decision anymore either.
My husband, who says he's supportive, really isn't. So what am I doing, pointing out every time he gorges. Hopefully that will get through to him that he needed this more than me. My goal is to try to get him to get this surgery by this time next year. I'm worried about him...he's healthy, except for his weight...and maybe he is happy just sitting around playing video games all night and not playing with his daughter...but I need him to see that there is more to life than World of Warcraft!
Wish me luck!
