So, the title says it all.  After finishing up my 6-month nutritionist program in February, in June, I am still WAITING for a surgery date!  I have met with the surgeon and have been placed on the waiting list, but I AM STILL WAITING!!  This must be some new form of torture for me.  The bariatric coordinator for my surgeon's program is always telling us that we didn't get this way overnight and we should be patient.  Can I patiently SMACK THE CRAP OUT OF HER?!?!?  I understand that it took me years to get like this.  However, I pay close to $400/month for insurance that is supposed to pay a considerable chunk to fix me up rather speedily.  Well, I am not getting a good return on my investment here.  How can I start a new life if I am still WAITING to begin?  This whole process is very frustrating.  I now understand why people walk away from Kaiser's bariatric program.  This is ridiculous!!!
