Well yesterday I went in for my first fill and let me tell you I was VERY nervous. It was no real big deal. She started me with 3cc but as I drank a glass of water it kind of hovered instead of going right through so she took out 1cc and it was fine. So I have 2cc in my 10cc band. I really have not been all that hungry but glad to have a little more restriction. Seeing as I only lost 4 lbs in 2 weeks. I go back in 4 weeks from now for another fill if needed. I had my aunt and uncle up last week and was too easy to get into old habits but I am back on track now and that may have been why I only lost 4 lbs in the last 2 weeks. Also, I really need to start an exercise regimine!!!

I had my post op appointment today and everything went well. I have lost 16.9 lbs since I started my liquid diet. I have my first fill in 2 weeks now. I have also started walking 1.5 miles 3 times a week to start and will add a day until I am walking 5 days a week. I have a treadmill so if it's raining I have no excuses.

Today is my 3rd day of liquids and the first day was the worst!!! I did ok in the beginning of the day but then went to my in laws because my husband had to help move some stuff well they decided to BBQ and that was really tough smelling the food as it cooked so I went and got my hair cut instead of watching everyone eat. Avoidance is the key for the first little while anyway. Yesterday and today have seemed to be ok so far a little hungry but not terribly. My biggest problem is mentally thinking of food and thinking "I could have this it is still early and it would be fine" but I do know that I can't so I don't. I figure if I can't stick to this how am I going to be able to use my tool after?? Taking one day at a time, I guess that is all I can do, right??

Well, this is my first ever blog!! I have been searching through and reading so much today on this website. I am 3 weeks out before surgery next month and start my liquid diet on Friday the 3rd. I have been reading the blogs and did not realize how emotional this process is going to be but I am up for it. I am done not being able to do what I want to do. I know this is not much but I just did get done writing my story below as well and just don't have much more to say right now. Will update soon, and I'm sure I will be venting quite a bit during the next 2 weeks once my liquid diet starts.
