My name is Denise. I am from a small suburb of Pittsburgh , PA, 37 yo and have a 17yo son and 13 yo daughter and am divorced since November 2007. I was married at the age of 19 and was 4 months pregnant in a size 3 wedding gown. The weight battle began there. I have had 2 c-sections, laparotomy and hysterectomy by the age of 28. I put myself through nursing school and graduated as a registered nurse in December 2005 during a very bad separation. I am ready for a change in my life and my body. To start the new year I will have my lapband in place and will be starting a new job as an emergency room rn. I have not had a date or an interest to date since my separation which was appx 5yrs ago. I believe it is because of the lack of self esteem that I have. But guess what, TIME FOR A CHANGE IN THE YEAR 2009....
