Derith, first a big HUG for you...I really can relate to you at your stage of the Journey. Head hunger seems to be a big problem for you right now. Your brain still wants the food you used to eat...It is not easy fighting it but you can do it. When I had that problem my doc told me to chew on beef jerky until it passed. Your hormones are running amuck right now too, all part of the surgery at first. I am praying this all straightens out for you soon and you can enjoy the "ride". Take care Derith!!

Hang in there Derith. You are on starting a journey that will be like no other. These are your first steps. Take the good with the bad. In the end, you will love the way you look and most of all, how you feel. This is a new beginning for you. God bless you and yours. May your surgery be uneventful but successful. You are in good hands with Dr. Naaman. (I know - he is my sugeron too.) Jess

Hi Derith, My hubby is worried about me doing the stairs too (he just doesn't want to be beind me lol). My doc said since I can do them now I'll be able to do them after surgery. Right now is extremely hard but I weight 380 so I'm still going to try after my surgery (the 25th) Good Luck--Praying for everything to turn out better than you'd ever expect! Hugz, Vicki V.
