Best Wishes Jenny! I used to work at St. Joseph's Hospital(excellent care!)in Phoenix and took care of many of Dr. Newhoff's patients post-op. He is tough, and will insist you get up and walk and he means it! It may be hard the first time but it does get easier...If you do so he will be generous with the pain medication. It may sound unpleasant but it will get you well on your way to healing! It does get easier! And it is so worth it! So just remember this is your time to have a brand new beginning! Embrace it! My mother always says anything good in life we have to work for! Dare to dream! A new you is going to emerge beyond all beleif! you will be in good hands! Best wishes! Diana
