My name is Destiny. I live in Indiana. I am 31 years old. I have a wonderful mother, a great boyfriend and 5 pets. On Friday September 24, 2010, I had "open" RNY gastric bypass surgery performed by Dr. John Huse of the St. Vincent Bariatric Center of Excellence in Carmel Indiana. I got to come hame on the following Monday. So far everything has been going well. I hope that it continues that way. Wish me luck on my journey.
I started this process of hoping to one day have this surgery in Febuary 2009. My weight then was 422 lbs. On the day of surgery I weighed 368. It is now 1:10 a.m. New Years Day 2011...HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!...as of this minute my current weight is at 291 lbs.
