"Dr. William O'Malley is a quiet man, but a skilled surgeon! His office staff is over worked, but very caring, knowledgeable and helpful. Dr. O'Malley isn't much for small talk, but that is not why I chose him. His reputation in Rochester, NY is stellar. I had to wait a year for him to perform my surgery as he has a long waiting list. He has performed many gastric bypass operations and is very skilled at doing the operation. He is a wonderful teacher as he meets with perspective patients to educate them about the process, long before he performs surgery on them. When he meets with perspective patients he is very open and honest about the risks of the surgery. He stresses the importance of
after care and has a structured after care program with the nurse practitioner. He also suggests attending a support group before and after having the surgery. I would rate him as an extremely competent surgeon!"
