Wow... I just took the time to look back at my surgrey posts.. and the surgical support I received when I had my surgrey...It is hard to believe that was 28 months ago....My how time flies.. and how much has changed in my life... I went from a size 28/30 to a size 10/12, I weighed 290, now I weigh 146...I was engaged to be married... that and one other relationship has went to the side. I lived in Rochester Minnesota... I now live in New Brighton Minnesota... I have a wonderful boyfriend, who is totally different in every way from anyone I have ever been with before. I can honestly say the only thing that has not really changed in my life... is my cat. Tori is always Tori... but it is pretty scary as I look back at all I have been thru since February 14, 2007, how much life has changed... A good deal of it is related to my surgrey.. but a lot of it is just life changes. The biggest thing I think to get use to... is I am no longer the fat girl... You know.. the one everyone stares at.. without really looking. Never have grasped the concept.. the smaller you are.. the more visible you are...hmmmm. This really has been a life changing journey... and I do believe it is not over yet...I think it will be a while before it is.. as I am still adjusting to the changes in how society treats me.
