Diane, Thanks so much for your comments on my surgery page. It looks like you have done really great with your surgery. I am starting out at about the same weight you did but I'm quite a bit older. Sure do hope I can do as well as you have. I researched and decided that the DS was the surgery for me too. Protein, vitamins and water here I come !! thanks again, LaVerne

Diane's surgery went alittle longer than expected, there was alot of scare tissue to go through. She hasn't taken any calls so far,she's having alot of pain (Diane doesn't do pain well). So she's been in and out of la la land, more up dates to come as soon asx we hear from her. Thank you one and all for your thoughts and well wishes!

Diane, I will pray for you on this. Trust in God that he will bring you through this. He has plans for you. If it was not God's will for this to be done you would still be waiting for a suregery date. I too have struggled with the same thoughts (our surgery is on the same day). Just think of the things that you will be able to do with your daughter after surgery, that you can't do now because of the extra weight. You will be fine! Again my prayers are with you.

Diane, best wishes for your upcoming surgery. I had mine last November, and I have never had a single regret. One thing that may help to remember is that the nervousness is over with when you wake up in the recovery room to your new life.
