"My first impression is that he was caring and compassionate. After talking with him, I also considered him knowledgable and competent.
He is friendly, and available for questions and concerns. He has established a practice and gathered a staff that can deal knowledgeably with the issues involved in this surgery. He mandates at least two sessions at a support group that he and his office run, and it a very good group. He made sure that I understood the risks and benefits of this surgery, and does quite a bit of pre-operative testing as well.
He stressed that after care and support group meetings would be very beneficial to long term success."
