well since my last blog i have an awful cold so they had to change my surgery date from 2/17/10 the new one is 2/22/10
well thats my hubbys bday he is getting a thinner healthy wife i guess he cant ask for more then that lol
i'm just sticking to my shakes and its hard when u have a cold but its all good we have to do what we have to do untill next time have a wonderful day keep losing byeeeeeeeee

hi my name is dina i am 45 yrs old  i've been married for 17yrs we have a 14 yr old son who is my heart..so last may i decided i want to be around to see my son grow and become a man to see him have kids ..thats when i made my appt to see my surgeon dr washington  it took a while to get all the pre op stuff done but i did it ..now i am doing the pre op shakes i wont lie it hasnt been easy but i am doing it i lost 5lbs this week ...i have the normal fears and things we have when making a major life change but then i thought why fear this will only make me healthy and happy i cant wait to shop in a store that isnt for plus sized women its been a long time ..so far i was lucky my sugar is normal my blood pressure is normal but i didnt want to wait until there was a problem my surgery is less then 2 weeks away it feb 17th 2010
i know this change is the right one for me ..one of the best things i have found is this board and chat room its been so helpful the people are wonderful it helps to know we have all been in this place .so as i start my journey i will be posting pics and blogging ..since i do cook for a living maybe i will be addind some good bariatric recieps ..follow your heart follow your dreams ...dina
