I have lost 100 lbs 3 times in my life, but have never been able to keep it off. I eat healthy food most of the time but have always had a problem with portion sizes. In August of 2007 I was diagnosed with diabetes which was a great wake up call. There are no more excuses I need to lose the weight and keep it off. I have been in every program you can imagine, but struggle to keep  the weight off. I am planning on having gastric bypass to hopefully get rid of my diabetes and use as a tool to maintain weight loss. I have done a ton of research on the procedure and I am very impressed with it's results regarding weight loss and diabetes. The risks of obesity far out weigh the risks from diabetes and obesity. Although I am considered what might be called a light-weight, I feel that it is better to get serious now than later. I am looking forward to learning more about the process here at obesityhelp.com!
