"My stay here was exceptional. I was the first bariatric surgery performed here, so a few minor bugs got worked out on me. However the staff was top-notch, and any issues were quickly addressed. I actually didn't want to go home when I did. I enjoyed the pampering and attention. I even was visited by the hospital administrator, and when he found out that they didn't have a gown to fit me because they were on order, he personally went and picked them up so I wouln't have to do without. I HIGHLY recommend this hospital to anyone wanting this surgery."

"Dr.Ihde is GREAT!!!! very confident, very personable, and you get the feeling that he really cares about your health and that he will take care of you. I first saw him a month ago and I am approved and already have my tests done and my surgery scheduled for next month. He is in a new office and I didn't have to wait at all to see him, my appointment was set for the next week after my call. He is very approachable and only has 1 staff member, Kim, she is great too. Everyone is so nice in his office. He doesn't have an aftercare program, but he takes the time to prepare you for life after surgery, so you go into this surgery with both eyes wide open. He is very upfront about the risks of the surgery and the risks of not having it, and doesn't pressure you either way. I like him he seems very competent and very warm and caring. He is the 4th surgeon I have seen about this and was a last resort when I found him. I only wish I had found him FIRST!!! I can't really think of anything negative to say other than no aftercare program but I wasn't too keen on an aftercare program in the first place. That may change after surgery."
