The story's the same; only the name is different...Fat kid, would lose weight, only to regain.
Now that I'm in my 40's, medical issues are starting to creep in. High blood pressure, triglycerides, joint and muscle pain, back and knee pain. Yep, it's all there and the weight is the problem.
I originally began looking into Lap Banding. RNY seemed to drastic. As I researched and talked to the doctor, I came to the realization that RNY was exactly what I needed. I freaked out so badly that I removed my previous profile here and went into lock down mode. I was afraid that if I had gastric bypass, I would die, leaving my 12 and 15 year old sons without a mother. How selfish would that be?????
As I prayed, I felt God's presence and reassurance that everything would be ok, so here we are.
